Burning Man 2004:

Vault of Heaven

 

August 30 - September 6, 2004

 

I arrived on the playa after midnight. For one week I called Mercury and 7:00 home.  When I looked up and saw a full moon, I knew my second time to Burning Man would be spiritual. By the end of the week, I discovered revelations about myself and made progress in the continuing evolution of me.

 

The people, the theme camps, the art installations, the mutant vehicles, the moments on the playa where I was lost and found again. Once I tried to describe Burning Man to someone who has never been but was at a lost. For no amount of words or images can completely touch the sense of knowing that I was in Black Rock City so full of life with the freedom to be simply a human being.
